Patricia Carr was born in Ithaca, New York. Surrounded by an artistic family, her interest in creativity started early. She moved to Santa Cruz, California in 1979 where she studied art at Cabrillo College. Later she pursued  a career in Decorative Arts. Her paintings and photographs have been shown throughout the Western United States and, are held in numerous private collections.
